Jesus saves, Trash the Med Card.

If you could go back to when Jesus walked the Earth, what practical knowledge would you share to help humanity, something not related to scripture?

For example, teaching people to boil water for sterilization, since they already had fire. This would have made bacteria & parasites infested water safe to drink. Back then, wine was added to water to kill bacteria, and parasites minimizing stomach pain.

One reason why Scripture advises us not to be drunkard, is because people would mix too much wine in the water. Why didn't Jesus recommend something simple like boiling water to improve lives? Maybe our spiritual walk is vital compared to our earthly needs. What could be more important than healthy water? Maybe it's the two things Jesus asks of us. Look at it this way.

1. Have your actions today toward others brought more glory to God or to yourself?

2. If you said "Yourself" then you have issues to resolve with your Heavenly Father.

3. STOP. List two things your child or spouse does not listen to?

Our Heavenly Father gave us two main commands to follow. The Great Commission and the Great Commandment. When our children or spouse see that our actions align with God's desires, they will in return listen. When considering Jesus did not tell us how to boil water, one can say all fleshly desires are insignificant compared to spiritual ones. Jesus' sole purpose was to acknowledge only the desires of our Heavenly Father.
